Latin jazz guitarist Ivan Najera, a staple in the local nightlife scene, adds a dance twist to his repertoire Saturday at the Stonehouse Restaurant when he is joined by Marty Holland and Albert Vasquez.

“As always, I do 98 percent originals and here and there a known samba or bossa nova. I’m trying this new setup for smaller and local gigs. It’s a high-energy trio and people can’t stop moving to our rhythm. Great dancing tunes,” Najera promised.

Holland is on bass and Vasquez is on percussion.

Music starts Saturday at 8 p.m. There is no cover.

The Stonehouse Restaurant is at 107 Sacramento St. in Nevada City.
