Last week to comment on mine

Grass Valley is preparing to start the third and final massive phase of paperwork to review the environmental impact report before deciding on the Idaho-Maryland Mine/Golden Bear Ceramics project.

This is the last week of the public comment period to specifically address the question, “What topics should be addressed in the Environmental Impact Review?”

There will be another public comment period after the draft EIR is ready, possibly in the spring.

APPLE has submitted a round of scoping comments, available online at http://www.apple-nc.org/
