Larry Coleman Sr.

Memorial services for Larry Dale Coleman Sr. of Grass Valley will be held at a later date.

Mr. Coleman died Thursday, Oct. 31, in Grass Valley. He was 60.



He was born Aug. 26, 1942, in Spokane, Wash., to Clifton Coleman and Lilly MacMaster. He served as an airman first class in the U.S. Air Force for two years. He married Paula Oct. 20, 1962, in Fairfield.

He earned his private pilot’s license. He owned an excavation company. He enjoyed flying, four-wheeling and camping.




He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Paula Coleman of Grass Valley; son, Larry Coleman Jr. and his fiancee, Michelle of Modesto; son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Carolynn Coleman of Grass Valley; son, William Coleman of Eureka; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
