Kudos to ‘Snow Falling on Cedars’ performers

On March 21, I attended the Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra’s performance of “Snow Falling on Cedars.” What a remarkable experience!

This inspired cast gave it their all! The story of the treatment of Americans of Japanese descent during World War II is probably only vaguely known to most of today’s citizens. Through this beautifully performed play they have made it a vivid memory of how good-hearted people can make terrible judgments – a very pertinent thought for today too.

Thank you so much for being a sponsor to bring this talented troupe to us. I am increasingly delighted to find such creativity in our towns.
