Kudos to Sheriff’s Volunteers

When we go on vacation, we contact Jan Scott at the Senior Volunteer Office at the Sheriff’s Office and she arranges for volunteers to drive by and check on our property on a regular basis. This morning there was a knock on my door and volunteer Mr. Miller was there seeing if everything was OK. He had noticed a different car in our driveway and was checking to see what was going on. I had forgotten to call the office and let them know when had returned home earlier than expected.

It is a good feeling we have people out there who volunteer their time and they should be applauded. Thank you Sheriff Royal, Corporal Walt Jones and the senior volunteers.
