Kudos to National Hotel

On July 4 my husband and I thought it would be fun to go to the parade in Nevada City. We caught the shuttle from the Rood Center, which was great, walked to the National Hotel to find a spot in the shade. Being almost 87 years old, my husband said he could not stand for too long. He sat on the little, low, curb in front of the hotel. Had a hard time getting up and down. Also, sitting back would not really let him be bale to see the parade.

So, I decided to go into the hotel and ask if I could borrow an old chair for him. The hostess was so good, she said “sure.” She brought out a nice chair, my husband sat right up front and really enjoyed the parade. Had a wonderful time. Thank you, National Hotel.
