Kudos to all involved in Agony Bicycle ride

Eighty-two bicyclists recently rode as far as they could in 24 hours in the Agony Bicycle Ride to benefit the teens in residence at Christian Encounter Ministries.

Our deep gratitude goes to A&A Physical Therapy, Economy Pest Control, Caroline’s, and The Blackwell Group Real Estate Valuation for underwriting the expenses of the event. Nevada County Amateur Radio Operators, photographer Cheryl Patterson, Duane Strawser of Tour of Nevada City, and local riders, volunteer saggers and sponsors too numerous to list – your selfless giving is an inspiration and a wonderful example to all.

Tom Fitzsimmons at KNCO and Gary Clelan, John Hart, Brian Hamilton and Laura Brown at The Union – your coverage of the event was fantastic.

Thank you all!

Mike Petrillo, Director
