Grass Valley Elks Lodge continues to encourage our community’s youth by managing and issuing awards for program participation. Recently we had our Hoop Shoot and one of our young winners went on to achieve a winning free throw score at district and is in the state competition.

In addition, our “Most Valuable Student” contest has four winning students; two will continue to the state competition. Our younger student essay contest garnered six local winners; four will continue on to the state contest.

Kudos to the teachers and parents. Finally, thank you to Grass Valley Elks Lodge members for raising the funds that keep these grassroots, all-American contests first in our hearts.

Grass Valley Elks Lodge No. 538

Many thanks to Grass Valley Boy Scout Troop 4 for replacing the benches at Condon Park’s disc golf course. Great job guys!
