Kudos: Angels in Nevada County

Recently, our little dog “Kikko,” a shih tzu, wandered off our property and ran down our road to the Rough and Ready Highway. My wife and I walked the area and drove our car up and down the highway trying to locate him. We thought the worse had happened, and at 85 years of age, my heart was really pounding.

We had given up hope and tried to contact KNCO for a lost dog report when the phone rang and a lady, Slanders Setchel, said she had the dog and he was OK. She spotted him on the side of the road and would bring him to us. Our prayers were answered, thanks to this “angel.”
