to our community
Nevada Union FFA Boosters, teachers and FFA students would like to thank everyone who attended the third annual FFA Fundraising dinner for Nevada Union FFA. Our community came together once again and gave tremendous support to our students by purchasing dinner tickets, donating items for the raffles and auctions, and giving so much of their time to make the dinner a success. A special thank you to the businesses that donated hundreds of dollars of goods to the fundraising effort. We all know this is what makes Nevada County such a special place to live and raise our children. The money raised will help the FFA chapter continue to “hit” the road to compete and participate in the many FFA leadership and career development events throughout the state.
Thank you to everyone who believes in the future of our youth’s participation in agricultural leadership. Their future is in good hands!
To The Center for the Arts
and Sierra Sirens
Kudos to The Center for the Arts and Sierra Sirens for their wonderful Broadway or Bust show and benefit event for our Breast Care Fund at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation. The event raised $2,800 to help advance the care that local breast cancer patients receive at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Many thank-yous to Julie Baker, Executive Director of Center for the Arts, Lorraine Gervais & Brielle Morgan of the Sierra Sirens, all of the artists and local businesses that donated to the auction and the guests of the Broadway or Bust musical extravaganza.

To Diane Fetterly
and Sierra Stages
I would like to congratulate Diane Fetterly and Sierra Stages for their fine production of “Lend Me A Tenor” – which is one of the very best comedy plays I have ever seen in Nevada County. Very fast paced, hilarious and with a good story and cast, this is a show which should not be missed. It is now playing at the Off Center Stage in Grass Valley.
Tio Sierra Nevada
We would like to thank the staff at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for the excellent care of our loved one. A special thank you to Trevor in ICU and to Kelli and Amie in Comfort Care.
