Kirk Brimhall

Former Grass Valley resident Kirk “Pappy” Brimhall died Wednesday, June 30, at his home in Glendale, Ariz. He was 86.

Mr. Brimhall was born Jan. 25, 1918, to Logan and Mary Brimhall. He married Jayne Brinkerhoff Jan. 3, 1940. Following his service as a U.S. Navy Seabee in World War II, he worked as a farmer, cattle rancher, construction master mechanic, heavy equipment operator and contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne; their four children Don, Linda, Kris and Chip; their 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
