Kerry’s patriotism

The First Amendment and the prohibition of “prior restraint” allows the Sinclair Broadcast Group to air whatever kind of political propaganda it wants. Sinclair can only be punished after the fact — and after the damage has been done. I hope Sinclair’s blatant abuse of the public trust costs the company all of its broadcasting licenses.

The fact that John Kerry had the courage to go to war and then come back to tell the American people that the war was horribly wrong is a testament to his patriotism. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. John Kerry did something. He should be lionized, not vilified, for telling the truth about the Vietnam War.
