Kerry the war president

Voters against the war in Iraq would be wise to closely examine what a Kerry presidency might mean. Kerry has said on Iraq: He’s proud he voted for war, thinks Saddam’s a danger and needed to be removed, he would have gone into Iraq even if he knew there were no WMDs, thinks we need more troops in Iraq (another 100,000), and he would invade other threatening nations.

When LBJ was president, he continued to ratchet up the Vietnam war and send in more troops even knowing the war was a disaster. Why? Because he was afraid of being seen as “soft on communism.”

Given his statements, Kerry would likely do the same in Iraq to avoid being viewed as “soft on terrorism,” and create something far worse than Vietnam.

Do you so hate Bush that you would vote for an elitist billionaire, whose opinions flow with the wind, who thinks we need to let the now corrupt and anti-American U.N. dictate agenda to our government, and will be the biggest war president we have had in decades? J.F. Kerry will be our generation’s LBJ, and then you will have all the war you want to protest once again.
