Kerry like fresh air

After watching the second presidential debate, I decided that I cannot bear to watch another one. Bush’s bullying attitude, talking over the moderator and jumping out of his seat disappointed me and made me embarrassed that we have allowed him to run the country for four years.

It made me angry that he uses the word “God” to get votes, and at the same time sends young soldiers (mothers, fathers, daughters and sons) to war over a lie and probably financial gain for him, Cheney and other corporate executives. Bush does not want to offend the right wing so he is not supporting embryonic stem cell research anymore, but he does not see a moral conflict in soldiers dying over a misunderstanding in intelligence. His refusal to admit his mistakes is offensive to our soldiers, to the American public and to our world.

Kerry is a breath of fresh air, even if he is a politician. His record shows that he cares about the American people, national security, education and the environment. At least he knows what it is like to fight for this country.
