Kenneth Cose

Visitation for Kenneth Lee Cose of Grass Valley will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Bible Church of Grass Valley. Private entombment will be at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito.



Mr. Cose died Monday, Oct. 7, in Grass Valley. He was 84.

He was born June 27, 1918, in Canyon City, Colo. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a fireman first class. He married Grace on Feb. 4, 1968. He worked for Chevron Corp. for 30 years as a maintenance foreman. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed volunteering at the Wolf Mountain Family Camp.




Mr. Cose is survived by his wife of 34 years, A. Grace Cose of Grass Valley; sons Kenneth L. Cose Jr., Keith D. Cose, Edmond E. Cose, Gary D. Cose, Alan T. Cose and Norman M. Cose; brother and sister-in-law, William R. and Mildred Cose; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church of Grass Valley, 11481 Highway 174, Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
