Curiosity seekers from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Reno visited The North Star Mine Powerhouse Museum on May 8 for a dose of local history. The museum is currently open from noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, and is looking for new docents. Visit the museum at 933 Allison Ranch Road in Grass Valley or call 530-273-4255.
