Keep your cats inside

The recent article about the cat trappings in Nevada City is very disturbing. I’ve had cats and dogs all my life and the animals I have now are getting the benefits of all my “life lessons” on how to care for them properly.

The people who are anguishing now at the loss of their cats are going to have to learn to keep them indoors. It is the only solution when you have a crazed person out there who doesn’t care one bit that the cat in the trap may be someone’s pet. Mine are indoors because of animal predators, but since I made the decision to keep them “indoor cats” my vet bills have gone down tremendously as an added bonus.

Canvas the neighborhood with signs and post a reward for information leading to the prosecution of this menace, but keep your precious cats inside.
