Kathleen Webster

Services for Kathleen “Pat” Webster of Auburn will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa’s Church in Auburn.

Mrs. Webster died Friday, Jan. 9, in Auburn. She was 76.

She was born April 30, 1927, in Detroit, Mich. She graduated from Marygrove College in Detroit with a master’s degree in child psychology. While attending school, she worked at the Children’s Zoo in Detroit. She worked as a school teacher for over 25 years. She was active in the Catholic Church and was an avid reader.



She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Craig Castle of Vista; daughters Dee Holliday of Conroe, Texas, and Moira Webster of Sacramento; daughter and son-in-law, Carey Webster and Tim Scanlon of Grass Valley; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Julie Webster of Mission Viejo; grandchildren Justin Holliday of Conroe, Texas, and Tamra, Kendra, Parker and Colby Scanlon, all of Grass Valley, and Samantha, Sydney and Jefferson Webster all of Mission Viejo. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Holliday, and her parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Hills in Auburn.
