Kathleen DeNoble

A memorial service was held Saturday for Kathleen Nordell DeNoble of Rough and Ready.

She died Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the age of 59.



She was born June 2, 1943, in Denver to Bill and Kathryn (Blodgett) Bishop. She married James DeNoble on Aug. 18, 1962. She was president of the Penn Valley Fire Auxiliary and enjoyed singing, fishing, gardening, decorating and helping others.

Mrs. DeNoble is survived by her husband, James DeNoble of Rough and Ready; son, Scott DeNoble; daughters Christie Pelayo, Denise Towry, and Stephanie Murray; mother, Kathryn Bishop; father and stepmother, Bill and Bea Bishop of Penn Valley; brother, Dennis Bishop; sisters Kerry Hastert and Roberta DeMaria; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaquilyn DeNoble.




The family prefers memorial contributions be sent to the Penn Valley Fire Auxiliary.

Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of the Angels.
