Karen Myrick

Services for Karen Lynn Myrick of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.

Mrs. Myrick died Monday, May 13, in Grass Valley. She was 43.

She was born April 18, 1959, in San Francisco to Bill and Beverly Mansdoerfer. She attended North State Christian Academy. She married Greg Myrick in 1982 in Grass Valley.



She was a secretary for the North Star Christian Academy. She was a member of Twin Cities Church.

She enjoyed crafts, weaving and painting.




She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Hart of Grass Valley; grandsons Jaimon Hart and Dillon Hart, both of Grass Valley; mother, Beverly Mansdoerfer of Grass Valley; father and step-mother Bill and Susan Amidon Mansdoerfer of Grass Valley; and brother, Stephen Mansdoerfer of Littleton, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphatic Research Foundation in Roslyn, N.Y.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
