June Anderson

A rosary for June Anderson of Grass Valley will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Anderson died Saturday, Feb. 5, at home. She was 70.

She was born June 3, 1934, in Los Angeles, to Jesse Voiles and Elva Stewart.



Mrs. Anderson’s schooling included a nursing degree.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Anderson of Grass Valley; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Bryce McCoy of Grass Valley and Deborah and Mike Okey of Rohnert Park; sons Mitchel Sylva and Matthew Sylva, both of Grass Valley; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Melisa Sylva of Antioch, Michael and Alyson Sylva of Grass Valley and Martin and Margaux Sylva of Fairfield; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Carl Long of Redding; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Kate Voiles of Huntington Beach; and sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and John Kubrick of Ukiah; and 17 grandchildren.




Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Foothills.
