Judy Marple

Visitation for family and friends of Judy Brenden Marple of Roseville will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. at the mortuary. Graveside services will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Marple died Friday, Jan. 24, in Roseville. She was 58.

She was born on May 16, 1944, in Grass Valley to Evelyn Crane and Claude Jury. She went to McClatchy High School. She married Jonathan Marple on Nov. 9, 2000, in Reno. She worked for Safeway in Sacramento. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, water and snow skiing and tennis. She was a fix-it person.

She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Marple, of Roseville; son, James Mason of Roseville; daughter, Teri Perkins of Roseville; grandson, Jeremiah Perkins of Roseville; aunt, Frances David of Grass Valley; sister-in-law, Barbra Jury of Elk Grove; niece, Robin; nephew, Jeff; and cousins Joann, Joe, Barbra and Carlos.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kaiser Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
