Judd Trotter

Services for Judd J. Trotter of Penn Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.

Mr. Trotter died Monday, Sept. 20, in Penn Valley. He was 80.

He was born on May 8, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Lillian and Lester Trotter. He graduated from New York University. He served in the U.S. Army with the 75th Infantry Division in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Grace on Jan. 23, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was on the Nevada Theatre Commission Board of Directors.



He is survived by his wife, Grace Trotter; daughters and sons-in-law Lucy and Bruce Bottrell, and Jane and Ray Oleson; grandchildren Eli Bottrell, Julie Bottrell, Nathaniel Oleson and David Oleson. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy Bottrell.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
