Joseph Harris

Joseph Lyle Harris of Grass Valley died Thursday, Oct. 7, in Nevada City. He was 26.

No services are planned.

He was born Sept. 8, 1978, in Germany, to Richard and Bonnie (Grischkowsky) Harris. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, spending time with his dog, and working with his brother-in-law, Jeremy Lang, at the Country Rose restaurant in Nevada City.



Mr. Harris is survived by his mother, Bonnie Harris of Grass Valley; sisters Liberty, Christy and Emma Harris; brother Jonathan Harris; grandparents; aunts; cousins; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harris.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to defray funeral costs be taken to Hooper and Weaver Mortuary, which is overseeing the arrangements.
