John Morrison

A memorial service for John William Morrison, 72, of San Bernardino will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1900 N. D St., San Bernardino, Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.

Morrison, 72, a resident of San Bernardino for 45 years, died at home Monday, April 15.



Mr. Morrison was born in South San Francisco and raised in Nevada City. He graduated from California Institute of Technology in 1951 with a bachelor of science degree. He was a mechanical engineer, owner of MORCO, and former owner of Highland Machinery.




He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of San Bernardino; sons Charles E. Morrison of San Bernardino and John W. Morrison Jr. of Hollister; brother James A. Morrison of San Juan Bautista; three grandchildren, Chrstal and Dustin Carter, and Erika Morrison; and nephew Robert A. Morrison.
