John Marshall

John A. Marshall, 79, of Nevada City died Saturday, March 26.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Mr. Marshall was born May 22, 1925, in San Francisco. He graduated from Balboa High School in San Francisco, and attended “GYRD Technicians School,” at Purdue University while serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked in San Francisco as a heating and sheet metal contractor for more than 50 years. He enjoyed golf.



He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa; daughter Paulette Kirshner; sons Matthew and Stanley Marshall; grandchildren Maura Wayne, Nichole, Andrea, Gregory and Jason Marshall and Jake Kirshner; and sister, Betty Patton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center, Attn. Volunteers, 4150 Clement St., San Francisco 94121-1598.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
