John Edens

Visitation for family and friends of John Eugene Edens of Penn Valley will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Chapel of the Angels in Grass Valley. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Chapel of the Angels in Grass Valley. Burial will be at the Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.

Mr. Edens died Monday, Feb. 2, in Penn Valley. He was 55.

He was born April 30, 1948, in Lodi, to Johnny Edens and June Solomon. He attended four years of college. He was a carpenter and was a member of the carpenter’s union. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and off-roading.



He is survived by his daughters Michelle Sullivan of Grass Valley, Peggy South and Sarah Edens both of San Jose, and Diane Walker of Sunnyvale; sons John Edens of Grass Valley, Josh Edens of San Jose, and Craig and Jim Walker, both of Sunnyvale; and 13 grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
