Joe Roy III brings his raptors to the Center for the Arts

Joe Roy III will present “Aerial Predators & Ecology” twice Saturday at the Center for the Arts.

Roy is a published author, master falconer and lecturer. His birds have appeared in commercials and magazines; Roy’s cockatoo Sydney was the national winner of Purina Mills pet talent contest last year.

Several live raptors, including the peregrine falcon, will be observed Saturday. Also performing will be Sydney.



Showtimes are 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Admission is $10.




The center is at 314 W. Main St. in Grass Valley.
