Joe Hedge

Joe Glenn Hedge, 83, of Nevada City, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, at home.

No services are planned.

He was a native of Arkansas, and a World War II veteran. In June 1985, he took early retirement from his position as Port of Baltimore Manger for Global Van Lines and moved his family to Nevada City.



He is survived by his wife, Sophia Hedge of Nevada City; sons Lee Hedge of Seattle, Wash, and Hank Waczkowski of Redwood Shores; and daughters Johanna Hedge of Seattle, Wash., Barbara McReynolds of San Jose, Irene Peacock of Sparks, Nev.; and numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
