Joan Buck

Joan Lee Buck, 60, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died Monday, Feb. 2, in Lake Havasu City.

No services are planned.

Mrs. Buck was born April 7, 1943, in Oakland, to Silas Lamb and Leona Selles. She was raised in Cedar Ridge and attended Union Hill Elementary School. She graduated from Harcourt High School. She married Carl Buck in April 1972, in Reno, Nev. She resided in Grass Valley until 1993, when she moved to Arizona due to illness. She was a waitress, florist, lumber grader and an Amway salesperson. She was a 4-H leader for 10 years. She enjoyed raising sheep and had won prizes at the Nevada County Fair. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and dancing.



She is survived by her husband, Carl Buck; daughters Virginia Faraco, Dayna Geiger, and April Brock; son, Chuck Percy; son-in-law, Douglas Faraco; grandchildren Adam Hall, Brooks Faraco, Jeff Jackson, Dustin Faraco, Ryan Geiger, Doug Faraco Jr., Rob Lanzi, Niki Lanzi, Dayton Faraco, Sissy Lanzi, Amber Brock; granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Faraco; and great-grandson, Justin Faraco. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Reginald Lamb.
