Jerry Hutton

Jerry T. Hutton, 81, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Auburn.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Mr. Hutton was born March 19, 1923, in San Francisco to Thomas and Rena (Boyer) Hutton. He received a B.S. and M.S. at U.C. Davis in agriculture technology and then received his Ph.D. from Penn State in dairy industry. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. He married Bettylou Grissell on Aug. 4, 1950. He retired as vice president of operations resources, government relations, scientific affairs for McKesson Corp.. He was a former resident of Nevada County before moving to Lincoln. He enjoyed elk hunting and computers.



He is survived by his wife, Bettylou Hutton of Lincoln; daughters Tina Hutton of Auburn and Karen Hutton Dolister of Truckee; brother, Jack W. Hutton of Upper Lake; and nephew, Mathew Hutton of Upper Lake.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
