Jennifer Shaw-Crosby

A celebration of life for Jennifer Shaw-Crosby of Truckee will be conducted at 11a.m. today lakeside at Sunnyside Resort in Tahoe City. A reception will immediately follow at the resort.

Mrs. Shaw-Crosby died Wednesday, Nov. 13, at home. She was 32.

She was born Sept. 23, 1970, in San Jose to Robert and Linda Shaw. She moved to Nevada City when she was nine years old and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1988. She graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1993 with a degree in landscape architecture and planning.



She married Kevin Crosby in 1993.

She is survived by her husband of nine years, Kevin Crosby; twin sons, Ayden James and Collin Robert; parents, Robert and Linda Shaw; brother and partner, Jeffrey Shaw and Amy Kasameyer; grandmother, Alice Page; uncles and aunts, Robert and Carol Page, and Tom and Linda Shaw; aunt and uncle, Deanne and Jim Hoekstra; father and mother-in-law, Pete and Elizabeth Crosby; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Peter and Kathryn, Tim and Lisa, and Dan and Kim; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Mark Brixey, Stephanie and Tom Journey, and Hailey and Kevin Findley; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bert and Jeanette Shaw, and Harold Page.
