Jeffrey Jacques

Private services will be conducted for Jeffrey Mark Jacques of Grass Valley.

Mr. Jacques died Sunday, Dec. 8, in Grass Valley. He was 41.

He was born on March 9, 1961, in Palo Alto, to Norbert and Gloria Jacques. He graduated from Cupertino High School in San Jose. He was an avid fisherman and spent several years employed on an Alaskan fishing boat as a processor and a supervisor. He enjoyed the mountains and lakes of the Grass Valley area. He had been a junior golfer and participated in many tournaments. He also enjoyed animals.



He is survived by his mother, Gloria Jacques of Palm Desert; sisters Elyse Stewart of Lakewood and Shelley Weisickle of Granite Bay; brother, Stephen Jacques of San Antonio, Texas; and nephews Ryan Stewart of Irvine and Evan Stewart of Lakewood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Jacques, in 1984.




Memorial contributions may be made to the Grass Valley Animal Shelter, 125 E. Main St., Grass Valley 95945 or to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, 500 Morris Ave., Springfield, N.J. 07081.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
