Jean Johnson

Jean Arbuckle Johnson, 64, of Grass Valley died Friday, April 8, after a six-month battle with cancer.

No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Weaverville in 1940, to Flip and Margaret Arbuckle. She moved from the Weaverville area in 1960. She lived in Cedar Ridge for a year in 1978 and was involved with the Penguin swim team. She moved away and returned to southern Nevada County in 2000 to retire. She enjoyed gardening, antiques, and people.



She is survived by her husband Clifford; son, Jeffery of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Jennie of Southern California; sister, Carol of Shingletown; three granddaughters of Lancaster; and numerous cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society.
