Memorial services for Jane Marie “Gotrox” Gautreaux of Penn Valley will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Owl Restaurant, 134 Mill St. in Grass Valley. Bring a favorite photo and memories to share.

Mrs. Gautreaux died Thursday, Oct. 14, in Roseville after a battle with cancer. She was 57.

She was born Jan. 2, 1947, in San Francisco, to William and Tempa Ohm. She graduated from Oceana High School in Pacifica in 1964. She was employed by Alhambra Water for 17 years. She married Walter “Bill” Gautreaux on Aug. 12, 1978, in San Carlos.

She enjoyed shopping, jewelry, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Tempa M. Ohm of Danville; daughter, Lisa L. Laughton of San Ramon; sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and John Exline of Danville; sister-in-law, Beth Goehegan of Lacombe, La.; and granddaughters Kayla and Daina Laughton both of San Ramon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Walter “Bill” Gautreaux in 1995; and her father, William “Bill” Ohm, in 1996.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cancer Aid Thrift of Grass Valley.
