James Feightner

Memorial services for James Paul Feightner of Grass Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Chapel of the Angels in Grass Valley.

Mr. Feightner died Sunday, Aug. 1, in Grass Valley. He was 82.

He was born June 22, 1922, in Canton, Ohio, to Louis C. and Geraldine Dorland Feightner. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He married Ethel on Sept. 7, 1949, in Glendale. He worked for Lockheed.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel M. Feightner of Grass Valley; daughter, Patti Woods of Penn Valley, sons Larry Feightner of Grass Valley, and Bob Feightner of San Diego; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clark Feightner; sister, Buelah Shivley; and grandson, Jeffrey Maring.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
