Ina Balmain

Memorial services for Ina V. Balmain of Granite Bay were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Granite Bay Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 6365 Douglas Blvd.

Mrs. Balmain died Sunday, Feb. 12, at Sutter Roseville Hospital. She was 92.

She was born Nov. 3, 1913, in Onega, Kan., to Claude and Emma McKee. She married Milton Balmain on June 12, 1938. They had been charter members of Granite Bay Lutheran Church of the Resurrection since the early 1960s, where Ina was the Alter Guild chairman for 35 years.



She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Milton of Granite Bay; sons and daughters-in-law Douglas and Theran Balmain of Coulterville and William and Cheryl Balmain of Grass Valley; daughter, Carol Scannell of Auburn; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Balmain.
