In support of privatization for library system

I am always amazed when a selected group of residents preach as if they know what’s best for our Nevada County community. Friends of Library board members do not speak for my family when it comes to finding solutions to keep our libraries open.

We are in a national financial crisis which impacts our local communities. The Board of Supervisors has done the research and has found a suitable and responsible solution.

Cutting costs means elimination of good paying library jobs, reduction of library hours and possible closures to individual libraries. Is that a sensible solution?

This doesn’t sound like friendly advice coming from those who pretend to speak on behalf of the library public. Please support outsourcing of our county libraries.
