Immigration debate heats up again

President Bush may not be “the Devil” as President Hugo Chavez stated, but he certainly has been quite a bit of a prevaricator when he says immigrants are doing only the jobs “Americans will not do.”

The construction industry is now the largest employer of undocumented workers (illegal aliens) in the United States. Thousands of American citizens are waiting in line for those jobs. So the “jobs Americans won’t do” claim is now a patent lie.

But let us not put all the blame on George W. Bush. The present governor of California has betrayed working Californians by allowing foreign contractors to bid for state jobs after promising to revitalize the Golden State.

It looks like the Democrats are not the only “rats” in politics after all.
