Ilene Lampley-Hanson

Ilene Mary Lampley-Hanson died peacefully Feb. 2 after a short illness at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. She was 54.

Memorial services will be held early this summer.

Mrs. Lampley-Hanson was born Feb. 13, 1953, in Montana to Jim and Judith Hanson. She spent the best of her childhood years in Bremerton, Wash., with brothers Eric, Brian and David, sister Laura and her parents. She attended high school and some college. She spent her last 28 years living happily in the Colfax area, where she raised her family and enjoyed the company of close friends. She enjoyed any sewing-related crafts and was a skilled quilter. She also enjoyed embroidery and gardening. She will be missed dearly by friends and family.



Mrs. Lampley-Hanson is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dick Lampley, of Colfax; daughters Alicia Lampley, of Monterey, and Sarah Lampley, of Sacramento, and four grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley.
