People will be able to learn more about the proposed re-opening of the Idaho-Maryland Mine and give their opinions in two workshops being scheduled next week by the city of Grass Valley.

The two workshops will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Memorial Building, 255 South Auburn St., in Grass Valley.

City employees and an environmental consultant will describe the project, the three-part approach to looking at environmental issues and specific issues concerning the potential impacts and benefits.
