Ice cream, music equal a fun benefit

More than 120 Nevada Union High School students will perform Wednesday in the annual “all you can eat” ice cream social/band concert at the school’s cafeteria.

The students are wind ensemble, symphonic, concert, jazz, percussion, marching bands and color guard members.

The social/concert from 6 to 8:30 p.m. is $5. Proceeds benefit the Nevada Union Band Boosters, which provides instruments, instruction, coaches and scholarships for students in instrumental music department classes.

Nevada Union High School is at 11761 Ridge Road. Call 273-4431 for more information.
