Nevada County to host meeting on Brunswick Commons

The County of Nevada will host a public meeting 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers to present conceptual drawings, provide an overview of envisioned program activities, and gather public feedback and suggestions as part of the planning and approval process for the Brunswick Commons Affordable Housing Project and Homeless Resource Center.

The proposed Brunswick Commons project is a mixture of affordable housing and homeless resource center which includes transitional housing units. This is a County-sponsored project located within the City of Grass Valley. While collaboration between both entities has occurred during the initial planning phase, the County is taking the lead on the planning, permitting, environmental and ultimate entitlement approval process of the project.
