Host families sought for exchange program

The Council of International Educational Exchange needs host families in our area to provide a bed, meals and a loving home for high school students from Germany, Sweden, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and Asian countries.

The students are between the ages of 15-18 and learn about American culture while sharing their own culture and customs with their host families, schools and communities.

Staying for 5 or 10 months, the students are screened both in their home country and by CIEE for academic excellence and English proficiency. The students have medical/dental insurance and liability insurance. They are responsible for their own personal spending money and lunches at school. Families can be couples with or without children, single parent families or even single adults.
