Hospitality House fundraiser tomorrow

Jason’s Studio Cafe, the new coffee and wine bar in Grass Valley, is hosting the first in a series of ‘Wine Tastes’ as a benefit for a local nonprofit that helps the homeless, Hospitality House. The first evening takes place Friday, from 6-8 p.m.

Tucked inside Booktown Books and Tomes (107 Bank St.), Jason’s Studio Cafe features original art, ceramics, coffee, free wireless Internet connectivity and wine and beer in an elegant and intimate setting. Jason’s also serves light fare and chocolates.

Each attendee will get two free tastes of great new wines from the acclaimed winemaker Alex Cose; full glasses will be available for purchase. Attendees must be 21 or over, and admission to the event is free.
