‘Honk! jr.’ is free and fun for all ages

Magnolia Intermediate School presents two free performances of “Honk! jr.” – one tonight and one Friday, at the gym.

“Honk!jr.” is Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale of “The Ugly Duckling” transformed into a musical comedy geared for all ages.

Teacher Gaylie Bell directs more than 35 Magnolia Intermediate School students in “Honk! jr.” Bear River High School senior Amy Huntington is assistant director and Magnolia Intermediate School eighth-grader Katey McGregor is choreographer.

Showtime is 7 p.m. both nights.

Magnolia Intermediate School is at 22431 Kingston Lane near Lake of the Pines.
