Herman Langemo

Memorial services for Herman M. Langemo will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario, Calif.

Mr. Langemo died Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Grass Valley. He was 87.



He was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Fingal, N.D. After living in Ontario for 25 years, he and his wife, Myra, retired to Grass Valley. After her death, he married Betty Foss in 1992, and they resided in Grass Valley.

He is survived by his brothers Walter and Howard; sisters Lillian Jacobson, Leone Osmon and Ruth Steen; wife Betty; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Steve Lehtonen; son and daughter-in-law, Grey and Carrie Langemo; and numerous step-children, grandchildren, step grandchildren and one great granddaughter.




He was preceded in death by first wife Myra in 1990; daughter, Gretchen; brothers Peter, Edwin, Ervin, Arthur, and Henry; and sisters Marie Hoiland, Martha Langemo and Inga Wilkins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church Mission Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 1394, Grass Valley, 95945.
