Hazle Baggetta

A Mass of Christian burial for Hazle Louise Baggetta of Penn Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Baggetta died Friday, Jan. 10, at home. She was 69.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1933, in San Francisco to Harold V. Cheney and Irene Virginia Palmieri. She graduated from St. Emedius Grammar School and the Academy of the Presentation High School. She married Joseph Baggetta on Nov. 29, 1952. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and tole painting.



She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Baggetta; sons Steven and Michael Baggetta; brother, Harold V. Cheney; and grandson, Adam Baggetta. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Ann Phelps.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
