Hazel Ryan

Memorial services for Hazel M. Ryan of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Grass Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church at 12889 Osborne Hill Road.

Mrs. Ryan died Saturday, Jan. 10, at Spring Hill Manor in Grass Valley. She was 92.

She was born May 15, 1911, in Chatham, N.J., to William S. and Dorothy (Lovell) Tyson. She had been a resident of Grass Valley for 30 years.



She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Frank Zangara of Grass Valley; daughter, Joan Teague of Grass Valley; grandchildren Ron Zangara, Steven Zangara, Nanci Crewse, Vicky Davidson, Cecelia Davidson, Sue Zangara, Alfred Zangara, Bill Zangara, Kathy Holmes, Janice Palmer, David Adams, and Jennifer Adams; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Ryan in April 1986; grandson, Daniel J. Zangara on Jan. 25, 1992; and son, Robert E. Adams on April 6, 1999.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Highway, Grass Valley 95945.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
