Happy Anniversary

OK, I know you’re not supposed to wish yourself a happy anniversary but nobody else is and the self-help book I’m reading says we all need to do a better job of taking care of ourselves and acknowledging our successes in life. Today marks my one-year anniversary at The Union and there’s been barely a murmur here. Overall, I’m pleased with what we’ve accomplished in the past year, but at the same time I know there’s still plenty of room for improvement. At least that’s what I keep hearing. My goals for the next year include even more focus on our coverage of growth and development issues and finding more stories about the people and places that make this area such unique and wonderful place. The more I learn about this area, the more I like it.
